I take it there is no way of changing the installation path, right? :(

Wish I could avoid installing this cr@p, but I need to install the messenger (16.4.3505.912). It would be a slight comfort to at least be able to chose where I want to install it ... hate it when apps trying to be 'user friendly' and not giving us the option of choice!

Live Messenger is being scrapped in a couple of months anyway, you will have to use the new Microsoft Skype instead. The only worry is how Microsoft will recoup the $8.5 billion they paid for it...

Yes is not worthwhile installing Essentials, except for the other apps

erm... run the regular installer instead of the all in one essentials installer?

i'm currently on a modified older version of msn where you have to edit the exe to raise its version number so it's allowed to sign in

EDIT: or make an ntfs junction, but what's so important about changing the location if it's not portable or large?
