    Hi all,

Does the WEI not work in the N version of Windows 8? Is there anyway to get it working?
I have the error: "Unable to run performance assessment error: cannot complete the requested assessment. the system does not have the neccessary multi-media support to run the requested assessment."

    Thanks,
    Daniel

I noticed the same problem, maybe there is something from medial player missing which is used for some tests...

LOL... N Sounds like such a crappy version of Windows to have. Not only can you not place certain games, you can't even run a simple task in Windows itself?!

I'm using N here and the WEI is to only thing that I tried to run and failed... I'm used to VLC and MPHC anyway,

When I tried, Saints Row 3 would not run because it was missing DLLs that was from the removed features.

I had similar problem with AVP, but installing DirectX solved the missing files problem. I guess Experience Index also need few files and done.

makes sense, so maybe we just need to wait for the win 8 "Media Feature Pack " to be released

I encountered the same problem with Win 8N and WEI, but found a Media Feature Pack for download which will work with WEI! So for those of you that find this thread in the future, here it is: (I thought, not being able to post links) Just search for "Windows 8 media feature pack" and install it.

    That's just true.

I could also set the WEI to what number I want with 3.party apps like Winbubble!
