    Hey Guys,

Ok I have searched and tried to learn this, but im not familar with SLP Activation. I have my other computers with BIOS mods running Windows 7 beautifully, that I can do. I have the 120day Evaluation Copy of WHS from MS, and I want to activate my server with the SLP method. I have an old Dell Poweredge SC420, with the current bios A02. The RW Tool says I have a "Dell Inc." How the hell do I get this thing activated? Baby steps please..:)

    Thanks,
    Dave

Use the OEMBIOS.exe found in one of the oembios tools in the xp thread. See if there is another string or which oembios files to use..

You will need the Dell System SLP to activate the WHS...

Seriously old version of ODIN, it finished (I believe) on 1.3.7 & then become uODIN (with 1.0.0.2.7 in the wild)

Please don't try any of the cracks / loaders on Microsoft server products it will be difficult if you wish to use the Genuine key later. As for WHS 2011 you can buy directly from Microsoft / Retailers which is around $45-50 (if you can afford).

Most of the NT 6.x servers can be activated by Windows Loader or CODY's toolkit or bios mod with proper oem:slp key. Server 2003 can be easily activated via oem:slp method.
