I am unable to install Windows Live Essentials 2012 on Windows 10. It's giving me error and asking me to install .NET framework 3.5 but Windows 10 has a newer version of .NET already and doesn't install previous version. Besides it's not good to go back to previous version of .NET. So what can I do to install? I just use one app that comes with Live Essentials which is Live Mail. Help please.
Microsoft discontinued MSN Messenger (Windows Live Messenger, Microsoft Messanger) and so you will not be able to sign into it.
If you install essentials without messenger (custom install) it may work since it is only the mail client. But I doubt it since it was designed to be used with MSN and Hotmail, both have been replaced with outlook.com and I do not recall if you can use the program as only a stand-alone mail client or not.
