Windows logo animation

    Is there a way to get rid of the animation right before the login screen? It's a waste of 10 seconds that my SSD isn't using to load the OS.

    You mean the welcome part? Maybe it's calculating things then (cpu + ram load), I'm not sure though

    It doesn't make a difference to boottime anyway, but if you really want to the easiest way is to delete or rename bootres.dll.

    It's actually doing stuff behind the scenes (loading drivers, enumerating hardware). It's not showing the animation just for fun.

    Anyways: Start-search-msconfig-boot-Check "No GUI Boot"

    Your pc is just slow man, the animation is skipped if windows is ready to boot
