I tried to change it...but ... no success. Anyone know the way how to change ? tell me an instruction please. Thanks in advance
You need do do what is said in post #3 in the link above. But Resource Hacker doesn't work in win7. You will have to use Restorator2007, or Anolis Resourcehacker. What is said in post #4 is referring to the oemlogo.sys, which is the oem-logo beneath the winlogo in system properties. You need to follow guidelines in post #3 only. It does work.
Have you checked that the Bit depth is 32 for the new image Vista and early builds of 7 was very easy but this is weird. Alfa
correct me if im wrong but i thought it should be like this because some ppl think we are all n00bs A clear evidence, when certain n00bs meet up, good things happen in the end lol sorry for off topic
@ozzyboy I did like the way you did... but when I copy and replace the file shellbrd.dll. It says: "You need permission to to perform this action" although I run " Add Take Ownership " from genuine555 link Any ideas , Thanks in advance @genuine555 Thanks for your link . It still asks for permission after running it, did I do something wrong ? If I wanna replace other picture, What size - File type & dimensions of picture should I make ?? Any suggession would be appreciated
Using Restorator2007, if you select, on the left folder tree, the images folder, you'll see on the right, their size, dimension and bit depth. Anyway, to replace any picture, you can also do it extracting the picture you wanna change and then you'll have its dimension and bit depth looking in its properties.
@Claysoft65 Thanks for your tips and try to save by Paint ( Windows 7) But it does not have 32 bit colors. Do you know any softwares that it has 32 bit colors for saving .bmp Thanks in advance
