I am struggling with WMC on Windows 8 Preview.
After installing I start the setup in order to use WMC with TV card (Working fine into Win 7).
Playready installed fine, TV DAB-T found 33 channels, then I goes to full screen to adjust resolution.
Alas .. Into the list the maximum res is 1600x900, my native resolution is 1920x1080, but no way to got it working it does not appear.
First I think about GPU card a GTX-460 Nvidia. Un-installed drivers, perform a clean install with the latest drivers 301.xx whql , but no luck still 1600x900 max in WMC.

Is there a way to force wmc to use native res at full screen ? :wallbash:
    any advice will be appreciated.

    Thanks you Redroad,
I forgot to mention that I use my PC display (24" Asus VE247h) well recognized by Windows 8 for viewing WMC, connected via an DVI cable to the GTX460.
I use native Res for Windows 8 RP, so I am annoying to see into the drop down list 800x600 up to 1600x900 only when setup Windows Media Center . Did MS change something since win 8 CP ??. I was working fine with the previous beta build.

    Problem solved.
First, HDMI or DVI gave same results. The GTX460 has 2x DVI and one HDMI output.
I downloaded Nvidia drivers 296.10 whql and performed a clean install.
Don't ask me why, but WMC show now all resolutions in the drip down list.
    Thanks for helping me.
