Windows Media Center?

    Hello, All!

    What's the purpose of Windows Media Center in Windows? Why Microsoft has built it for Windows 7?

    What are its benefits? Does it use for broadcasting? Do all TV Channels use it?

    Why not start MC and see?

    It uses WMP to gather all music, video, pictures, tv and recordings to one place..

    It's designed to be connected to your television and provide a simplified interface to display your videos that can be navigated with a simple remote. As well if you have a TV tuner card you can use it as a DVR to record and play back shows.

    We can record all these without Windows Media Center too but then why Microsft has made it? Is it easier to collect all meterial in one place using Windows Media Center? Also do TV Broadcasters use it?

    Also can I record TV Program using Windows Media Center?

    The bad thing is WMC consumes more memory,but good for entertainment.

    Run great at 4 gig no slow downs xbox360 as a extender to a 52 inch hd tv two hd tuners one usb and here a 22 inch hd tv as my monitor run at the same time
