On Dec 28 I updated my windows10 1703 to 1709. As expected this process created 'windows.old' folder as backup of the previous installation. What intrigued me was that the folder property showed "Created: Tomorrow, December 29, 2017, 3:50:24 AM". I'm still wondering what causes this to happen. Just curious, everything else runs well.
That folder Windows.old is since you upgraded from previously such as Windows 7 or 10 (1607) to Windows 10 (1709) So, Another word, best go to Disk Cleanup tools (that comes with Windows 10 apps.) and will cleared out.. Waste of your space..
Thanks for the advice. But how come a folder is created 'tomorrow' (as shown in the folder property)?
For one reason or another, time zone was changed during upgrade happens with me occasionally, integrating updates offline then install, then change time zone (default UTC -8 to UTC +3)
