Hi Everybody, I am Running windows 7 Genuine X64 on Dell XPS Laptop, and today I was suddenly attacked by this Virus called Windows Power Expansion. What it does is as soon as I Power On the Laptop, It automatically starts scanning the Pewter and at the end it says that Liscence is not Valid or expired then it asks to Buy a Liscense, then it asks for all the Credit Card Info.

Also it does not allow me to go to the Internet or Run my AntiVirus, I even tried on Safemode, still the same results.

Any Ideas would be really appreciated.

You can use your computer restore point if you have. I have the same problem and that works :)

The problem with using 'System Restore' is that the restore points themselves are likely infected as well. You'll then end up with a re-infected computer. You need to scan using an AV and remove it properly then clear out 'ALL' you restore points to prevent reinfection. I know...it's a pain!! But it's the only for sure way.
