windows security centre service cannot be started ?

    i have tryed everything i can think of cannot start service help !

    no error code " security centre service cant be started" it is also disabled at start up
    also now my windows update wont work " error 80072edf "
    used all recomended scanners malwarebytes norton and spybot
    spybot fixed issue with security centre service but after restart its not running again
    what the f....

    It could be Norton or McAfee security suite that is stopping it.
    Did you install these?

    I think u can install MSE to scan virus.

    had norton but got rid did a safemode scan with ms scanner fixed prob with sec centre service but now no windows update
    error 80072efd only have windows firewall with avg free 2011
    its an internet prob but i cant solve it any ideas ?

    got it sorted with super antispyware cheers anyways for the help :cool:
