windows server 2008 r2 media player streaming?

    Is there anyway to turn on media streaming/sharing in media player? Under advance settings its set to off but when i go to change it i get "the page failed to load"

    media stuff has been stripped out of 2008 as far as i know, yes u can install, player via the feature thing but media sharing / streaming / server been stripped out...

    install KB963697 microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=20424

    and than add "Streaming Media Service" role...
