    Hello there,

Sorry if it's a stupid question but just wondered if there is such thing like upgrading to Windows 10 by using Win7/8 keys for Server 2012 keys to 2016/2019 ?

    Thanks

There are not even keys for upgrading 7/10 to 10.

Well, what I mean is in fashion you can use your Win7 / 8 / 8.1 keys while installing Windows 10 and then activate happily ever after.

Server never was included in the free win 10 scenario, which accepted older win 7/8 keys.

I know it was a deal specific to consumer versions. What I simply ask is if I can install and activate Windows Server 2016/2019 using a Windows Server 2012 key.

Each new Server generation requires entirely new keys.
