Hello, Everybody is talking about unifying the Windows store when Windows 10 will be released. My question is, for example I can tell I am satisfied with windows 8.1 and I don't care about start menu, notifications or cortana. What will happen with windows 8.1 concerning apps?? They will become obsolete and I will need to upgrade to windows 10 or Microsoft plans do some update to windows store in order apps could be compatible with Windows 8.1?? thanks
I think Microsoft will make all Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 apps and games to run on Windows 10 to force people to upgrade and so they won't lose all of the current stuff in the Windows Store in the process.
Today there are apps that don't work in Windows 8, only in Windows 8.1 and I think the apps that working on windows 8.1 will work on Windows 10. I think only if new apps in windows 10 get new features they could not work in windows 8.1.
