Used HAL 7600 1.2 I know I shouldn't be updating my windows but for some major mishap it got updated automatically and installed. Then when I saw it I checked properties and my windows was still activated according to that. Same when I checked SLUI. But then from time to time it keeps prompting me that my Windows is not activated. Only got 25 days left on this so... If I do a system restore would it revert it back to that state where it was activated? Really need urgent help as I'm in the middle of a very important project. Thanks advance.
HAL is an unsupported solution so it's better advisement to use loader, KMS or Trilogy What OS you use sir?
Same thing here, Daz Loader 2.0.5. I reapplied the loader and it activated, but the genuine check failed. Win 7 Ultimate x64. Edit: Trying to narrow down which update caused this. The last 4 updates that were installed: 1. KB915597 - Definition Update for Windows Defender (installed 8/17) 2. KB2494150 - Update for Microsoft Office 2010 (64-bit edition) (installed 8/16) 3. KB2538243 - Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package (installed 8/16) 4. KB2518870 Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (installed 8/16)
I'm using Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I'm on a GPT partition settings. I had an issue with Daz as it didn't support GPT partitioned disks. Only tip from Daz(?) that I got is that flashing a modded bios would probably solve it. I'm trying to avoid modding the BIOS as it may tamper the warranty in case something goes bad. So then after some searching HAL was the only one that worked for me. Up until now... Ah yes those were included in the updated minus the Windows Defender and Office 2010. I recently installed Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate SP1. Nothing bad happened to it.
If you use AntiVirus: nod, avira, kasperski (not microsoft essentials) try to disable defenders service. then try to activate win with daz's loader.
@ vorathe The loader remainds uneffected. My guess is that if you've ever run anything else on your system to try to activate you then that's whats getting the system flagged as non-genuine. Try to see if an sfc scan works (sfc /scannow). If it gets to 100% then you can try using WAT Fix, installing the loader and then validating online.
So wait... Is there a new version of Daz loader that works with GPT? In any case should I really worry about the prompt? It only pops up seldomly.
Thanks for your reply Daz. This is a relatively new install of win 7 .. I've only ever used your loader to activate. Running sfc /scannow and I'll try the WAT Fix you suggested. Thanks!
/sfc scannow + WAT fix + Daz Loader reapply did not work for me. Still unable to pass the genuine check at microsoft.com/genuine/validate with IE 9 or any other browser.
