I uninstalled KIS 2013 but nothing change. Configuring updates arrives to 99% and bum ... 'Failure Configuring Windows Updates' message is there. My Windows is not activated but why some updates succeeded installed and some failed?
In almost of cases, this update was failed because hardware incompatibilities. You can try to remove all USB Drive devices and see if occurs again. If is VM, try to remove the Floppy / Audio / USB devices.
Try to do this a. Open an elevated Command Prompt from the Power User Tasks Menu. Just press the WINDOWSand X keys together and then click on Command Prompt (Admin). Click Yes to the User Account Control message that appears. b. Type the below commands to run: net stop wuauserv rename c:\windows\SoftwareDistribution softwaredistribution.old net start wuauserv c. After running the above commands, check if they are able to install the updates for those apps. And don't delete softwaredistribution.old folder.
I try that but unfortunately won't work. And i see on google that there no solution for this problem.
I have this issue with most new Samsung,HP, Toshiba based UEFI computers the way i have been able to work around it is by turning secure boot off in the BIOS and then updating the unit once the computer is updated then i go back in and turn on Secure boot again.
go disable your secureboot in the bios (wenn starting your PC press del --> enter bios go to authentification or security press enter with arrows select disable) F10 save and quit run windows update again
