Windows update integration..

    Hi, I have question about windows updates its better to integrate them using DISM or just install it as a normal and then capture image ? is it make any much diffrends ?

    It's OK to using DISM.
    However, the patches for Windows Embedede 7 versions may different than those for NORMAL EDITIONs Windows 7.

    Better to install and capture them in audit mode best and easy way.

    that's what i did concerning win8.1, i choose to install them in audit mode then sysprep as i tried to integrate before the updates using WHD8.1 by @abbodi1406 but didn't work for some reason, all started well, the updates were integrated successfully into install.wim but i got an error while unmounting the image so decided to use the audit mode to install them but i would say that both methods are fine.

    where to download and how to integrate Win 7 THIN PC updates ?

    Iirc, simplix update pack can handle it, meaning the normal windows 7 updates also should take.

    Basically windows updates for Windows 7, Thin PC, Windows Embedded Standard 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 are the same.
    Use "WHDownloader" or "WSUS Offline Update" if you want to have offline version of all updates.
