Get the windows 10 21H2 iso, mount it, run setup from it. It should repair whatever is blocking updates for you. Then retry upgrade to 11. 0x800f081f is a nasty error to overcome (hence the suggestion to first repair 10, not attempt 11 directly)
I have downloaded Windows 11 using your MCT bat file and am ready to install it on my system. Will I lose my activation if I install it directly? (using Rufus to create bootable Pendrive from downloaded ISO). Also, While downloading it didn't ask me for the edition. Which edition will be downloaded? both Pro & Home? or My system running on pre-loaded Windows 10 Home Single language. So would MCT downloads only the native Home edition?
@BAU ment to fix the current install first, by inplace/repair upgrading using a win 10 iso of the build you have installed. After that is done try the upgrade again (by ISO or WU). Depends on the activation method used, MSDM/HWID will remain activated, KMS(38) won't. Home (+N*), HomeSingleLanguage**, Pro (+N*) and Education (+N*) will be present on the MCT ISO. * when N editions are made available for your language ** when HomeSL is made available for your language.
If you have Windows 10 Home Single Language, that upgrades to Windows 11 Home Single Language, not Windows 11 Pro. If you force an upgrade to 11 Pro, it won't be licensed anymore, and you would need an activation crack (read Enthousiast's signature for a hint on how to do that). Finally, to force an upgrade to 11 Pro, you can simply use MediaCreationTool.bat again since you're familiar with it, but rename the script as "auto Pro MediaCreationTool.bat".

As I don't know the technicalities in this, Can we still use this method(using the given key) now in 2022? as we are using some random key from online, will there be a chance of blocking that key and losing the account activation in the future? or it will be like permanent(like HWID) activation once and for all? TIA
Press "View configured update policies" to see what changed, it should have nothing to do with using MAS.
