    try the following in this order:

    1. Open Command Window (cmd.exe) and type net stop wuauserv
    2. Delete the SoftwareDistribution folder from the Windows folder.
    3. Then type net start wuauserv from the Command Window.
    4. Launch Windows Update feature

    I already tried this but no luck...
