    Hi people,

Somehow i dont feel quite positive with this anniversary update and want to get back to previous versions of windows 10.

I plan to do clean install of windows 10 february update version and i have fear that i will get this anniversary update through windows update which i dont want.

So, question is will it happen or not

Surely no need for a new thread for this. Could have been posted in the main thread. Lots of this type of question being asked and answered there.

If you're using Home it will get updated as soon as RS1's released to you via WU. If you're using Pro you can defer for 4 months.

Thank you for answer. So, this way or that way, no chance to bypass this anniversary update?

I cannot understand why you are always against everything new. Of course You'll get the latest version, if You're connected to the internet. The best way to ignorire is to install Linux.

Not that I know of but maybe some MDL Guru knows how.

If you don't like Modern apps and don't want regular feature updates then switch to the Enterprise LTSB version (2015 version available now, and 2016 version in October).

Just use the LTSB 2015 version then. (or go back to 7/8, or switch to linux)

I wonder what, to me it feels the same, then again I do not use any of 10's features, I just use Windows. :espresso:

New Windows 10 builds can be hidden just like any other update if you use Windows Update Mini Tool (WUMT), which can be found here at MDL. The actual method is somewhat tedious, but it can be done. I have used WUMT in the past few months to skip two or three Insider builds by hiding them.
