Is it SAFE to install windows malware removal tool, KB 890830 on my pc having windows 7 Ultimate 32bit on C and windows7 ultimate 32bit with sp1 on D, both running nicely thanks to Daz and acrsn. I am scared of updates from microsoft. Please advice.

    Thanks.

Yes, it should be safe to run :) Actually all the updates, including hotfixes etc, are safe to run currently. The updates pushed by Windowsupdate are basically the minimum that you should be running, including Sp1.

How come the two different installations of Windows?

Thanks. But I think I'll stick to my IObit.
I downloaded both, sp1 and Daz loader. Had space in D. So installed the second OS.

    Better be safe than sorry.
