Where does it download the updates to?

I hit download on 3 updates, and they said they'd downloaded, but nothing in the folder I ran the exe from

    What do you mean by:

"Remove the update service using a standard Windows (wusa)"

Yup, Firefox is a browser, not an Anti-Virus

They can also just open downloads, library, and RT click unblock.

Good catch Shewolf, I was thinking they had an extension, never had safe block even a virus, but realized most loads are RAR and this wasn't.

Firefox didn't block anything this end, it downloaded it just like any other file, no block at all

I have NOD32 installed, but that was happy with it too

    Still running FF 39.0.3 though

I do have three adblocks, but would have to figure out if it was safe browsing on FF part, and I'm on 40.0.3.

Correction, it is a ZIP, never had anything block, Zip, RAR, 7zip.

And my AV reports it's clean.

I have ABP addon installed, that's the only blocker

Maybe it's a new addition to FF 40+, or maybe I've changed something in about:config - I've had this profile for a while, saved with MozBackup for clean installs of Windows

I've lost track of how many changes to about:config. LOL

I have so many log notes on what goes on with telemetry, I didn't even think to track FF.

But I can say with a certain positive knowing, that this file is safe, and it seems like a nice program, just need to see if any of the tweaks really block updates/drivers even manually, and then if this tool can still get them but gives the option to install over the forced.

Nope, the conversation is relevant to the download in the OP

If you post a link to a file that gets flagged as a virus, we have a right to discuss it
