OK, I'll try to be more apt when describing my problem. When I installed Windows 10 in VirtualBox, I have found that even though I have the latest image of Windows 10 and integrated a bunch of hotfixes into the image, Windows Updates still downloads a ton of stuff dating back to January 2023. I am specifically looking to integrate: KB4023057 KB5022729 KB4052623 KB5026037 I would like to integrate these updates into the image if possible. How would I do it? The catalogue has either a bunch of search results or nothing at all, so that's a no-go.
is not a real update, it resets WU to prepare for future upgrades. Is not the actual update but the kb nr for the support page of the combined ndp48 updates. Defender definitions update, you can integrate the defender cab but most likely there will be a newer definitions update by the time the iso is installed. OOBE update, many don't want it integrated but you can easily integrate it too.
Thanks. About the last update, why don't people want it updated? EDIT: And I am to assume that the last-mentioned update is the one to integrate?
You have W10 installed and updated in VBOX, just syssprep and capture the image. Or that is too simple for you?
No But yo Obviously to capture the image, the best thing to do is to have the machine powered off Audit mode is there to prepare/refine the installation before capturing it, but has nothing to do with the capture process itself You can capture a fully working OS with HW and user configured, for backup purposes (which is a way better option than using Macrium or other fancy 3d party SW that MDL kids love).
