Windows updates

    Is there any way to search and install windows updates quickly after a fresh installation of windows. In windows update it takes 4 to 5 Hrs or even more to detect / enlist all windows update and similar time to download. As a windows version get old the update search and install time increase.

    The sticky and external sites linked everywhere may seem complicated and may contain outdated info.

    As of today, you need to install 3 updates manually, KB3020369, KB3125574 and KB3172605, in this order, reboot after each one. Then WU will work normally and properly.

    Just use abbodi1406's solution, it's just running a cmd as admin :)

    Or use could use an offline updater such as WSUS Offline Updater.

    Simplix pack
    or Auto patcher ... ( You can remove unwanted updates by removing them from selection file, edit it with Notepad++ ) ..

    I am using Simplix pack its simple and quick ..
