Unpacksdc.exe doesn't work on the sdc files above. It is an older version and Microsoft has changed the encryption recently. As a matter of fact we need version 2.0 which appears nowhere. Thanks anyway!
@FreeStyler Thank you for your "friendly" comment. I have tried with unpacksdc 1.1 and en_windows_xp_professional_with_service_pack_3_x86_cd_x14-80428.sdc from various sources and I permanently got a CRC error or the message "This file is not SDC file or this format is not supported". I have .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 installed. I googled the matter intensively and saw that a lot of people report exactly the same results. It means I am not all alone with my "bulls**t". I have already given up. Thanks again!
Try this: I tried another method to convert with "unpacksdc", i downloaded something (eg CS_Windows_XP_Professional_with_SP3_x86_CD.sdc) - I created a folder "sdc" (example - C:\sdc) - I put "unpacksdc.exe" and "CS_Windows_XP_Professional_with_SP3_x86_CD.sd c" in "C:\sdc" - I opened "cmd" - I wrote - "cd C:\sdc" then - "unpacksdc CS_Windows_XP_Professional_with_SP3_x86_CD.sdc C:\sdc skipcrc" without quotes and will be converted and saved .iso in the same folder "C:\sdc" It worked for me. I found it in a post in here but i dont remember which one. So dont thank me.
If you even do not take the time to read command options in a program thats offered somewhere for you to use freely, I do not 'have' to reply 'friendly'... you are the one whining it does not work, although 2 people here already told you it works just fine... sigh
