Thanks...thats really wonderful and it will be really nice to have such delta files for all the Operating systems...I was also thinking of starting such a thread after that dicussion between you an MOJO24...but you beat me..hehe.. But i guess you are the best man to support such a thread as you have got collection of almost all types of OS...Looking forward for your other delta files as well...Thanks again...
@ LateShift Can you reupload the file at mediafire?...as i can't download from rapidshare as the file limit for the download has been reached..
I get "Unassigned file limit of 10 downloads reached.".... pls reupload.... I will make active mirrors......
Great stuff! I was simply blown away!!! I created a VLK edition of XP SP3 only by editing the batch file & compared the hashes with a MSDN copy downloaded earlier. The hashes match perfectly. Really impressed!!! Would be great if you could post delta files for the OEM versions of SP1 & SP1a.
Thanks, now I have all the english ISOs I need. But can this be done with other languages? I have a verified Pro SP3 Retail ISO, but I need both Home/Pro SP3 OEM. Do you need the original ISOs to make the xdeltas in the first place, or is there some other way to make different ISOs from this (I have MUI packs, if those can be used)?
But I see he asked for some files in a thread about XP SP1 (<thisforum> slash threads slash 19865 slash page6), where he was able to make a genuine ISO from just getting certain files from others. I'm trying to dig up some more ISOs, but I would like to know what files need to be copied from/to home/pro and OEM/retail/VL and how to pack it back up and make it a verifiable ISO. In short, I want to do what the first post does, but manually, rather than with xdeltas. I would be very happy to know how.
Hello, xdelta3: using default output filename: GRTMHFPP_EN_ISO xdelta3: target window checksum mismatch: XD3_INVALID_INPUT what mean this is? Thanks.
Is it for 32bit only or this method can be used for XP 64bit too? I've succesfully built XP Pro Retail x64 from SDC. Can the method be used to convert this ISO to other edition? Thank you.
Hmm, not correct. 58a24c7bb0255f5bc4d5d270d4024dad *GRTMPFPP_EN.ISO how to correct this? Also, sdc file same hash. 58a24c7bb0255f5bc4d5d270d4024dad *en_windows_xp_professional_with_service_pack_3_x86_cd_x14-80428.sdc
LateShift, From the lines above, i thought it says renaming sdc iso. But i first unpack the sdc and renamed the iso, then it worked. Thank you very much.
