Maybe, how do we know what chipset the laptop uses? Visit support page for the model & get the correct driver Do you have a setting in Bios to make it IDE? sebus
Hi there, thank for replying , well, this is the only sata driver i could find for Hp . Apparently No, it bios is insydeH20 and It's very limited Bios setting. I cant even see my Hard disk from Bios, And there's no "SATA MODE"
Well, sorry i actually already installed Window 7 x64 on my system without any error, so could i run this Devcon.exe directly from Harddisk? , sorry im kinda newbie with hardware and Cmd
hmmm strange, i even tried using Windows Xp black and Windows Xp with OEMscan that ColdAsIce given on the forum, it is still not working :'(. what should i do?
Nothing strange..as XP by default does not come with sata support and for including sata support you must integrate 'Mass storage' driverpacks from'drivepacks.net' into your windows xp iso and then you can continue installing XP...
try this when installing xp there should be a thing press f6 to install some driver it support for sata drives i hope this help someone mite be able to explain this better than i can
But you can not be that much NOOB as not to be able to start device manager, storage controller, right click, properties, details, hardware ids sebus
That's what i meant i tried Nlite and FUse for Massstorage and i still getting blue screen that's is strange, even the hp guy cannot give me any furthur help... .(Arggghh,,, i need Ahci and sata for installing Mac os x later too :'(
lol, of course i know how to check hardware IDs, its just that i dont know wich one should i check. but anyway,In storage controller there is just one controller and i think it's for Daemon tools okay here is the screenshot, because it's much easier to understand i guess http: //i38.tinypic.com/6t1qg2.jpg
ah i see, sorry about that. well i expand IDE?ATA ATAPI and here what i get h ttp://i37.tinypic.com/317cenr.jpg There's 3 inside: ATA channel 0 ATA channel 1 Standard AHCI 1.0 Serial ATA Controller Properties
wow, Sebus, i owe you a lot!!, :'( thank you so much.. well at first when i used dvd+rw to install with integrated Nlite, it's doesnt work, but after i use another alternative i used Wintoflash and it's working ^_^ wow. must be something wrong with my dvd+rw. thanks sebus anyway are you maybe a pro with hackintosh as well sebus? i want to install it to my unit though once again, thank you so much
I think its much better to integrate all the mass storage driverpack with driverpack base into xp iso...then you can use this cd on any pc.But you must integrate mass storage drivers in textmode...That way you don't have to worry about hardware id's etc..
