Windows XP Mode (Can I use the virtual machine in VMWare?)

    Hi!

    I own a legal OEM Windows 7 Ultimate.

    This gives me the right to have a Windows XP Mode.

    However I am not satisfied with Virtual PC's performance.

    Can I useVMWare Workstation safely? Or will my virtual machine XP's license expire?

    xp mode is an os(win xp) integrated virtual machine...
    if you use vmware u will have to install win xp separately, with your own os cd or img....
    so, if ur xp img is a trial one, ur licence will expire, otherwise it'll not....
