Windows XP or Windows 7?

    Hi!

    I want to change my compuer and I have the possibility to use or windows xp retail home, or windows 7 oem.

    What do you suggest?

    Depends on lots of things, ie.
    Is the machine upto Win7 spec (and that means not the bare minimum, especially graphics card)

    Do you use any software that will not work with Win 7 (and there are no upgrades?)

    Do you have any vital peripherals that you need to use & it will NOT work in Win 7 (due to total luck of support of that hardware)

    XP Home? leave it alone, if anything use Pro, otherwise use 7 (providing your answer to above are "NO")

    I suggests you to use Windows 7 because it is very much secure than Windows XP. You can also recover your PC easily. Corrupt files can easily got treatment. You can also lock your any drive in Windows 7. You can make image of your Windows 7 without using Ghost or any external program. Ghost is built-in in Windows 7. Its graphics are dynamic and specially, if you see Windows 7 aero desktop function then you can never go back to Windows XP.

    But remember, you need a little heavy computer for Windows 7.
