Looking for a decent copy of windows xp sp3 no serial required that will work on pretty much any computer. any ideas?
If the ISO is already bootably, simply creating a .SIF file and inserting with Poweriso is better. Nlite is not a great program...good in a pinch though I guess.. I think some working knowledge of the ISO format, activation procedures, and usage of RyanVM's program can go a long way. If you familiarize yourself with SVCPACK, you need none of the above, and can install any program you can create a silent installer for... As far as drivers go, Nlite is simple but dirty. perhaps the best solution for new folks to the driver integration.. I have used it, but there are much better lesser known programs. Urie knows of a better program that is very good for OS installs.
That depends on what h/w you use. if mod-ded BIOSes are available, you're lucky; if not - try your luck by using published VL keys and block the updates.
You don't need modded bios for Xp you just need to edit DMI string with DMI Boot CD for Award-AMI-Intel BIOS (Add SLP1.0 w/o modding)
I have been using nLite for driver integration for a long time. But I would love to hear about what would be better and cleaner solutions. Thanks in advance.
