I I understand correctly, these are all the critical updates?
Do you have al list for the optional updates as well? So that Windows Update would be completely empty

I have made a PRO OEM SLP CD, installed and updated Windows successfully with everything that Microsoft offers through Windows Update. Now I have a list of everything I want to integrate in my update history.

Then I have extracted en_windows_xp_professional_with_service_pack_3_x86_cd_vl_x14-73974.iso to C:\WINXP and downloaded updates I want to integrate. By executing, for example:
    WindowsXP-KB898461-x86-ENU.exe /integrate:C:\WINXP
i can manually add this update to the installation that I want to create.

The noob question I have is, how to add, for example, Microsoft Security Essentials or any other software to silently install itself during Windows setup?

    I would like to add:

    • Windows Media Player 11
    • Internet Explorer 8
    • Microsoft .NET Framework V1.1, V2.0, V3.0, V3.5, V4.0
    • Microsoft Visual C++ 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 Redistributable Package
    • Microsoft Silverlight 5.1.20913.0
    • Microsoft DirectX 9.0c End-User Runtime (June 2010)
    • Microsoft Security Essentials 4.4.304
    • ...
    • all hotfixes and updates for Windows up to 08.04.2014. and the software abowe.

I do not want to use nLite or any other tools.

    Thanks!

Thank you, but I need to test the affect of KB961742 on an application, by installing the whole lot I would not achieve the objective..
However, I expanded the EXE file, but don't know how to isolate that KB.. is there any way I could get it on its own?
