I recommend that 1.forget about activation for the moment 2.clean install payz's Starter 3.use ERD to change installed value from 1 to 0 4.reboot to see if you can logon or not 5.if error message still remains, obviously your P3-500 is not supported by the Starter (Nothing to do with the tool I gave you)
I recommend that 1.forget about activation for the moment 2.clean install payz's Starter 3.use ERD to change installed value from 1 to 0 4.reboot to see if you can logon or not 5.if error message still remains: the registry value was not successfully changed (This happens when ERD loads the Starter - being used, any critical change denied!) I succeeded because my computer has more than one system installed. I use ERD to load other system than Starter
xinso, i think i made it. i'm not sure is it the right way. anyway. what i did. - clean install - start safe mode, apply your tool - start pc use erd 2008 cd - change registry key to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\WPA\Starter] "Installed"=dword:00000000 - delete [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\WPA\Key-28W34WWKYT9TPVMYFTKXT] Key-28W34WWKYT9TPVMYFTKXT\ProductID\84901-OEM-xxxxxxx-xxxxx (xxxxxxx-xxxxx forget what they were), i thought this made the os conflict. since your tool added Key-3X9XJB3WC3BTKCWFHPQ72\ProductID\76486-OEM-0011903-00117, so i deleted key2..... - start pc normal mode. - run regedit. Starter regenerated key2.. again, but changed to Key-28W34WWKYT9TPVMYFTKXT\ProductID\76486-OEM-0011903-00117 - it is activated & no error message. restart several times & try internet, no error found. thank you very much. ps can i run imagex under xp pro?
If the oemscan worked, then the tool by dobbelina and myself will work also. The only caveat is that you must know the SLP string is present, and manually place the oembios files. The Pidgen and dpcdll.dll files are same.. This only makes it available to all oems and not limited to the two oemscan tools made..thats all....congrats on the activation..
Yes, and also you can make as many .CMD and .WIM, but don't forget to change the structure of the oemscan.ini. Congratulations, tds. I will copy your words now, but not 'till I have a machine supported by the Starter. Thanks! You're cool
dobbelina's tool -put 4 oemfiles to the same folder -run the tool -screen shows all oemfiles replace DONE. -error message [MSVCR71.DLL NOT FOUND] 911medic's tool -put 4 oemfiles to uncompressed folder -run the tool -a cmd screen appears with a _ prompt, nothing else
dobbelina's tool -google MSVCR71.DLL, (placed in same folder of VLK_TO_OEM.exe or c:\windows\system32, either one works fine) -put 4 oemfiles to the same folder -run the tool -screen shows all oemfiles replace DONE. -restart -error message [...computer not support by windows starter...] -start pc with erd 2008 cd -change registry key to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\WPA\Starter] "Installed"=dword:00000000 (dobbelina's tool grabs the first 5 digit of pid then use it in new pid, don't have to delete key2) (Key-28W34WWKYT9TPVMYFTKXT\84901-OEM-0030182-36053) (Key-3X9XJB3WC3BTKCWFHPQ72\84901-OEM-0011903-00109) (seems one step ahead of xinso's tool) -start pc normal mode -activated, no error message. 911medic's tool -put 4 oemfiles to uncompressed folder -run the tool -a cmd screen appears with a _ prompt, nothing else don't have the source code of 911medic's tool, no further investigation
