    Hello,

My mother said to me to fix her computer, and now I have her pc, it's a dell computer, And the first thing i noticed i can't have a background, it's saying Windows can't find monitor.exe And on the picture left down the tabs and the quick links are really wide from each other how could I fix this..
And how can I install monitor.exe? Is this a missing driver or what?

    thanks in advance

Try going into start & run & type msconfig
Go to the startup tab and see if you can see anything related to this monitor.exe - Expand the command section to see it's location.

You could disable it, Hit the ok button & reboot the system. See what happens.

When it's fixed you can give SP3 a try, I see it's still running SP2.
