Okay So I was using windows10 LTSC 2019 and few days ago I have upgraded to LTSC 2021(21h2) and also to win10 pro 21h2 (19044.1466) . The recent version feels really smooth. I think windows did something to recent update. It feels much smoother and faster than 21h1 or LTSC 2019.
Coming from the trash LTSC 2019 of course you should find any 1903-21H2 miles ahead. 19044.1288 was the peak performance of this family (1904x) so far. Anything afterwards is a bit worse at everything, and will continue to worsen, but there is hope for 22H1. Also, Enterprise / Education / ProWS 21H2 > LTSC 2021. Despite more bloat, it runs better (because MS did it again - a half-arsed chopping).
I didnt know it existed. I checked for updates but it says "you are up to date". How can I get 22000.469? Now I am confused, should I go back to 19044.1288 or upgrade to 22000.469?
11 is not yet an upgrade overall, but the opposite. You don't need to go back to anything, stay on current 19044, it's fine. It was just an observation that it started "rotting", but the upcoming 22H1 will bring performance improvements once again.
Thanks. Finger crossed. Will stay on Win10 Pro. oh another query, Does debloat scripts do anything good (ex:Sycnex/Windows10Debloater) or can break OS? It can remove the apps like your phone, xbox ect that normally can not be removed.
Yes, debloat scripts can help considerably when you have limited resources, but start to lose value when you have plenty of ram, cpu, ssd speed. Depends on what you're willing to "waste" time on. LTSC 2021 is a good start out-of-the-box if you don't want to tinker much (but should prepare for specific quirks to it in the long run). I would go with something like Optimize-Offline tho, since it reduces setup media footprint as well. I also would not worry much about breaking things - windows can break on it's own just fine, and a repair-install would solve most issues anyway if you can't install the next cumulative update or something. In any case, you're gonna find 19041-19044 builds more resilient to breakage.
Both Win 10 & Win 11 are being developed at the same time. Microsoft is committed to developing Win 10 till Oct 2025.
uh there isn't gonna be a 22H1 release only 22H2 instead as MS switched to a one feature update per year
Correction noted, but you don't really know any better. From what little ms communicated, while only one release, it's gonna happen sooner, in the first half of the year, i.e. H1. It remains to be seen.
