i am running Windows7 Ultimate 64Bit. i came to know that every folder in my pc is not accepting attribute change options.
just like when i go to properties of a folder, i want to remove 'read only' and two options show....

    1. Apply changes to this folder only
    2. Apply changes to this folder, sub folders and files.

in my case the option number 1 is disabled by default it seems. but it was not earlier(it was normal some days ago)
i tried to solve this by using Attribute Changer 8.0. bit it didn't work. please help me

Is your user account an administrator account?

You can check by going to: Control Panel->User Accounts

I don't know if this is relevant either, just a thought.

yes. i always log in with in-built admin. as i don't want the system to ask me yes/no on every system program to run
