windows7 cannot be online 24 hours, keep logging off.

    Hi,

    i have some problem with windows7, when i need to download a huge file, i leave the IDM downloading the file and go to sleep, but when i get up i see that the windows has turn off, is there any way to didn't make the windows turn off and keep downloading ?

    so 24/7 will be online for example.

    hey

    Just go into control panel/power options/change when computer sleeps and set it to never.

    IDM's the best :)

    Note that IDM does have a power-off option under: Scheduler --> Schedule tab, that allows you to set IDM to shut down the PC when the download is complete. That way if you worried about being online unnecessarily, you could enable that.
