i just installed windows7 on my dad's old computer, he's mobo asus p4p800se, i even loaded slic2.1 bios, but he's windows all of the sudden start bitchin that its not genuine anymore... even though when i installed it and ran after few updates... it was working fine... so i dont know what happened... i tried loading certs still nothing.. any ideas?!?
Install cert for your bios since u are a bios moded user and install key again but be sure is not blacklisted!
you cant just load the bios, you need the cert and key as well. did you do this after the install finished? if all you did was load the bios that is not enough
He was activated for some days... Then he should have slick 2.1, cert and key!! Maby he used the first lenovo key, and get stucked by wu..??
Sounds like it got blacklisted, just like VLK XP! O_O (just like a blocked VLK with XP) Oh, God, reminds me of the XP days, when I was forced to disable Windows Update and the BITS service, because Windows Update wouldn't even let me update and WGA notifications, back before I got a different product key.
Yeah, because it's not like it's been known for MONTHS that the Lenovo key would be blacklisted, and it's not like non-blacklisted keys have been out for at least 4 months. Microsoft set the bar pretty low for WAT so far, but they still seem to be successful, which is good because it means they won't crank on even harder.
