Depending on the password construction, brute force methods will take like forever...think of a password consisting of 5 letters and numbers etc, for example: 5pkunzw#e ...so, brute force at least isn't too realistic...
so far all the softwares i found only gives brute force, dictionary attacks and some variation of brute force attacks. Could take weeks to crack a strong password...since no one usually uses real words
If this is a large rar you've downloaded and now find it password-protected, just let it go. It happens and frankly is not worth the effort.
it s not easy to crack winrar file for experts too as it has best encryption technology used. some software may crack it iff, password is very simple & very short but if password is hard enough then it will take months & years to crack it.
