just done a clen install of win xp went to win update and it finds the driver for the laptop but fails to install everytime time i try it. so i then install it from the dell site but shows a yellow exclamation icon in device manager.........driving me nuts.any ideas????
yes iv did it all. i installed net framework from the optional download section and the driver actually installed but it made no difference. went to properties on the divice and it had a code 10."this device is unable to start" so then of to the dell site were it scans your pc for the system specs/hardware/software...ect.and it only found the ethernet under network adapters??. im guessing that the card my be broke.it was fine before i re-installed xp.......any thoughts??
