hello i have a couple questions wondering if anyone can help me. i have ultimate internet which is 50mbps down and 5mbps up. when i had extreme it wasnt a issue. was slower at 30mbps down.
my issue is i have a cisco e1000 flashed with custom ddrt firmware. i have it all set for wireless ap2+AES for wireless security.set to n mode only. have my ack set to 0 my desktop which is wired last speed test i hit was 62mbps down. which is awesome. but my laptop which is a dell studio 1558 with 802.11n seems to be maxing out at around 30mbps. whic was my old speeds. how the heck can i get wireless n to take my full speed or at least tweak it to get it up into the 40+ what settings can i tweak on my laptop to gain speed increase?
