Need help. Have installed and uninstalled WMC on windows ten a number of times but can not get it to open when clicking on Media Center icon. I'm having the same problem. I installed WMC 10.0.10134.0 and it won't run. I get the message, "This app can't run on your PC." Someone told me that the reason is that 10.0.10134.0 is for 64-bit computers, and the computer I installed it on is 32-bit. Can anyone tell me if that's true? If so, is someone going to create a version of 10.0.10134.0 that will run on 32-bit machines?
The install will only work on 64-bit. If you're using a 32-bit computer (Windows), you're going to have issues.
My machine is 64 bit. Just tried a version that said revised and still no luck. Will not start up. Everything seems to work as far as the install, but the WMC will not start????? Help please.
#1 If your w10 was a WMC before the w10 update you have to delete the files inside the folder C:\program data\microsoft ehome #2 try to start ehome as administrator #3 try to reimport the install.reg as administrator even if you did it as trusted installer #4 there is a thread sticky, why open a new one?

OMG, just did a reinstall and it has finally worked. ( WMC is open!!!!!!! Thanks for your help T-S. Guess I can mark this as solved!!!!!!!!
