WMP12 problem

    Whenever i use it while not connected to the internet a dialog pops up asking for connecting to internet.Is it some kinda malware in my system???

    WMP looks for online data about the files you play. You can disable this if you want.

    I never found such behavior.In xp wmp11 used to update data if connection is available..

    i faced this problem using KMplayer....
    And failed to find any option to disable this in settings....
    I deleted all the connections those are availlable in the connection manager,restarted, and created all the connections again....

    The problem was gone....

    Little late , but i can not find an option to use SPDIF with the classic player.
    Also i can not play wav dts files.

    With Kmplayer i can play anything,but i have to gues what it is on my receiver, but also no SPDIF option.

    I have installed many codec packs but the problem with wav dts is still there.

    When i used XP i never had ths problem..


    Sorry for my bad english
