You could just use MTK (Microsoft Tool Kit) from Member Cody for to activate Windows 8.x Pro/Enterprise/VL and Office 2013 VL for 180 days. also could set those activation to automatic which will no need anymore manual activation within 180 days.

Check it out in the Stickies, all infos are there incliude how to build your own KMS Server from scratch (which you didn't need!!)!

Nope...KMS Emulators will also acticate Core and Pro WMC. Only difference is that they do this for 30 days (in Win 8.1 Preview for 45 days) not for 180.

With daily reactivation triggered by Task Scheduler (e.g. AutoKMS from MTK) this is pretty much 'permanent' and more reliable than 'stolen' MAKs :good3:.

    Is that officially supported?

AFAIK, KMS servers only activate volume editions of Windows

    I'm following Microsoft rules

Not officially supported, as a real KMS Host will refuse activating them, but there are gVLKs from MS for Core and Pro WMC.

Nevertheless it works with no Update problems. Although WAT is part of Win by default, MS didn´t stop this, as they did with the WMC loophole.

I refuse doing this as offen i can :cool2:. ARRRRH...

Could some kind soul teach me how to do so? Or at least point me to the right directions, I'm affraid of doing something wrong. Like:

    1 - Do this (link)
2 - Then do This (link)

Help this newbie here, pretty please? :p

EDIT: Looking here on MDL I found that we can activate W8 every 6 months. No big deal to me, I just want to know which Serial-Keys are recommended and how to build my own KMS server. In the meanwhile, if someone has already done this, please post here the links!

PS: It will be more useful and will require less questions from me if you post exactly the post you want to point, because some topics have +600 pages which would make impossible to be productive.

are you interested in learning ? or if all that matters is activation , then install windows 8 any of the below

    Windows 8 RTM English, 32-bit (x86)
    Size: 2.45 GB SHA-1: 22D680EC53336BEE8A5B276A972CEBA104787F62

    Windows 8 RTM English, 64-bit (x64)
    Size: 3.33 GB SHA-1: 1CE53AD5F60419CF04A715CF3233F247E48BEEC4

    then download
KMS_VL_All v3.7 and then extract and run the batch file as admin , you are done

else if you wish to learn then the 600 + pages is worth a read.

Well, I rather learn how to activate with KMS but I'm expecting somebody to literally "give it on my hands". Unfortunately I don't have the time nor the knowledge to learn from scratch, I don't understand about computers as much as many here (yet) so my plan is simply learn "how to".

I activated Windows 8 Enterprise for 180 days but I now have Windows 8 Pro installed. The process can't be much different, I'm thinking on just setting my own KMS server and activating every 6 months, I just need to learn how (without reading thousands of pages) :(

EDIT: Huh, I wonder if all I have to do is this every 180 days.

OK, I got it, activated using KMS. It expires in 180 days.

Now all I need to know if the following is sufficient:

    * slmgr /cmks

Then 1 day before expiring re-activating using the same process.

180 days should be plenty of time to learn how KMS works.

Yes. That's how it works. You can extend the period at any time, don't need to wait. But it will never go beyond 180 days.
