Word, Excel and PowerPoint Office touch apps for Windows 10

Using Windows 10 and language and region are set to US but the beta Store does not offer it (yet) for me.

 

It should be in Store Beta not normal store.

Okay, am I the only one who can't install these apps? After clicking install, nothing happens.

 

no man you are not.. i cant install none of the 3 apps.. it fails at download at 0%

 

I know, that's why I wrote "beta Store". I did check the old one anyway though, but it's not in there either.

 

Good news. Microsoft is aware of the issue and is working on fixing it.

 

If you cant see the office apps in the beta store (like myself) you can get them from these links directly.

Mine hung on 0mb of 0mb for 30 seconds, then jumped to 0mb of 80 something mb and then started to download. So patience seems to be key with installing these programs.

too bad for me Store beta doesnt open....

 

It seems to be downloading over here. However, both of my systems are touchscreen and I want to see how this works in the one I am using for testing the Windows 10 Technical Preview.

 

Worked for me on my clovertrail tablet. I just did a clean install of build 9926. They didn't want to download at first but then I noticed in the store that it was trying to reinstall ~100 apps or so that I had before the clean install. I paused all of them then resumed just the office apps and they downloaded. They are pretty neat so far. I doubt they have all the full features but seems pretty handy for touch. I wouldn't want to type a bunch of stuff in word on a touchscreen though.

 

Can somone uploda apps, o am from Croatia so i cant download it, i have try setting region to US but its not working.

 

It's working fine, I'm jus waiting to try it on my 8" Tablet.
