When I open the Flash Player 32-bit Manager in Control Panel it opens and then immediately closes. On a Windows 7 install I also have it stays open but this problem is with the Creators Update, build 15063.138 installed. I'm not sure what it did before the Creators Update even though on another machine I have with the Anniversary Update, build 14393.1066, it also stays open. All other Control Panel items on this machine seem to work fine. Anyone have any ideas?

There isn't nothing else, but only not cleaned or damaged Windows. This widget works absolutely perfectly.

Thanks! The system is well maintained and not butchered or tweaked. It started out with 7 and then was upgraded to th1, th2, rs1 and now rs2, so I suppose it's not unusual that one thing could go haywire. Everything else running fine.

If I run the code from the an administrator command prompt it stays open but not if I click on it from within the folder. If I run it as administrator from the folder it also stays open. The difference is clearly whether it's run as administrator because it also closes immediately if I run it from a non-administrator command prompt. Any way to substitute one for the other?

Workaround - Hold down Shift, right-click and Run as Admin (on icon in control Panel).
