I used to be in the same situation as you.. looking for someone to post the latest patched BIOS for my Asus P7P55D Deluxe board.

I read, and read and didn't think I understood... especially after seeing -> forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/6921-How-to-Modify-Your-Own-Bios-Using-AMI-Mod-Tool-and-Award-Mod-Tool

Anyway, as I read I understood it to be pretty easy...

Download the AMITOOL (link in that thread).
    run the AMITOOL.EXE
    select orgininal bios,
    select manuf eg ASUS,
    select SLIC eg \SLIC21\AsuS.bin
    select SLP File eg slp\asus.txt
    #### click verify button to the right of the certificate box#### don't do, see the next post in this thread....
when prompted select the certificate eg _ASUS_-E1948081.XRM-MS
keep default option of "SSV3" and "use MM Tool"
    click Go

    Wait.

when done, you'll have an update ROM file that ends with _SLIC.ROM

Now, to test myself first... I downloaded an already patched copy of the BIOS from the threads here, then downloaded that version from the ASUS web site. I ran through the steps on the "from asus web site" version. and I did a FC /B between the output file, and the already known patched version I downloaded from here. They matched. So I've been following the same instructions ever since.

I would NOT do this Step until After you successfully Mod the Bios:
It is just there to confirm that the SLIC and Certificate match and can cause problems if down before you actually do the Mod.

Can someone repost the most recent of these? Perhaps to a multi-uploader such as gazup.com , so they don't get taken down so quickly.

    thanks
