    Hey All,
Just ordered a DIY kit from Tiger. Pretty good system for the price. However the whole thing only comes with a 700w PS. Just worried its not going to be enough. Thinking about going Crossfire next week when I get paid. Which then I will no doubt need more power. But just hoping its good for now. I'm waiting on RAM still (backordered)

    Here are the specs:

    Corsair Vengeance 12GB PC12800 DDR3 1600MHz
ASUS P6X58D Premium Intel X58 Socket LGA1366 MB
Seagate 1TB LP Serial ATA HD 5900/32MB/SATA-3G – Just using this as storage.
Corsair Air Series A70 Performance CPU Cooler
ASUS Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 PCIe Dual DVI & HDMI -(Not part of the kit)
    Cooler Master HAF 932 Case w/ Extreme Power 700w Intel Core i7-960 3.2Ghz 8M LGA1366 CPU
Lite ON 24X DVDRW SATA OEM

    Thanks,
    Jesse

Coolermaster is not a power supply I would use, the 6870 draws what, about 150 watts for the card alone under furmark, 2 cards leaves 400 watts for the remainder of the system which should be enough assuming the power supply is quality. If you want to overclock them you should look into a bigger power supply and preferably a quality unit like Seasonic, or similar.

The A70's work well, within a degree or three of the best aircoolers. Just 2 cents worth today.

52A on the 12v rail, should be perfectly fine, assuming that it's a stable 52A .

Thanks all. The Asus site is dead on 700w for what I have. I agree with brand 100%. I never really said I wanted to buy coolermaster. The case I got with the package I got is a coolermaster and that happens to be the PSU. I'd definitely go with something alot better. As for running crossfire its down the road for me as well. Not huge into PC gaming anymore. Doing alot of photo editing and stuff right now and the PC seems to be running ok. Actually really good.
