Wrong bios installed (solved) Please help me, my Acer TravelMate 4100 (intel vga). tryed Acer Vista upgrade kit Installed wrong ati bios (3A45) Now screen black, but windows still running. needed from USB/CD bootable new 3A43 intel bios. Hi StonedAngel, Firstly sorry for English speak. You need; 1-Burn original bios to bootable a CD/DVD or USB stick. (I learn Crisis bios recovery system and winimage from google) 2-Trial and error learning. example; my computer last startup first harddrive, but my needed from CD/DVD boot should be. (my acer travelmate 4100 old notebook) now starting trials; Power on computer press F2 bios, press left key go it last page. Press down key (three times) there must be something=Set as Default now press enter (two times) press esc key (several times) press enter. there must be something=restart computer I think if restarting computer we right way Now target CD/DVD drive first boot. Press F2 go bios, press left key (four times) go it booting page, press down key (two times) press F6 key (one times) press esc (several times) press enter. Now CD with flasing bios. Put CD/DVD drive your bios bootable cd or dvd, later aproxtime 2-3 minute automatic restart computer and back original screen. Hope help to you
