i was adding an asus slic to asus mobo (latest beta bios of p4s800d) and made a CLEAN install of vista home basic and load an asus cert and vista home basic key and vista was activated offline successful BUT!!!! i see slic and rsdt in everest (this is the good stuff) but i see also XSDT and EMULATED in the same line!!! so my question is: what the hell is going on?!! i never install on this machine any vista loader tool or paradox crack (did i made something wrong?!!) the xsdt is good for the system or should i remove it somehow
bios 1b original RSDT info: OEMID: "A M I " OEM table ID: "OEMRSDT " bios 1b original XSDT info: OEMID: "A M I " OEM table ID: "OEMXSDT " If you used AMI_SLIC3 it should have change those values to: OEMID: _ASUS_ OEM table ID: Notebook I don't know why it says emulated for XSDT, but I wouldn't worry about it if Vista is activated.
Don't worry about it i have that also on a real unmodded delll machine. Code: FieldValue ACPI Table Properties ACPI SignatureXSDT Table DescriptionExtended System Description Table Memory AddressEmulated Table Length92 bytes OEM IDDELL OEM Table IDFX09 Creator IDAWRD
Everest often reports XSDT as emulated using 64 bit Vista Don't worry about, alternatively you can use rw everything to make a report of the ACPI tables, Everest is a kind of commercial....
No worries i have that too in my sony vaio, not modded, running vista 32bit but still everest shows emulated Code: ACPI Table Properties: ACPI Signature XSDT Table Description Extended System Description Table Memory Address Emulated Table Length 148 bytes OEM ID Sony OEM Table ID VAIO Creator ID PTL
