i was adding an asus slic to asus mobo (latest beta bios of p4s800d) and made a CLEAN install of vista home basic and load an asus cert and vista home basic key and vista was activated offline successful
    BUT!!!!
i see slic and rsdt in everest (this is the good stuff)
but i see also XSDT and EMULATED in the same line!!!

    so my question is:
what the hell is going on?!!

i never install on this machine any vista loader tool or paradox crack (did i made something wrong?!!)

the xsdt is good for the system or should i remove it somehow

    bios 1b original RSDT info:
    OEMID: "A M I "
    OEM table ID: "OEMRSDT "

    bios 1b original XSDT info:
    OEMID: "A M I "
    OEM table ID: "OEMXSDT "

If you used AMI_SLIC3 it should have change those values to:
    OEMID: _ASUS_
    OEM table ID: Notebook

I don't know why it says emulated for XSDT, but I wouldn't worry about it if Vista is activated.

Everest often reports XSDT as emulated using 64 bit Vista
Don't worry about, alternatively you can use rw everything to make a report of the ACPI tables, Everest is a kind of commercial....
