    Hello all!

Excuse me for my terrible English, I'm from the Netherlands and English isn't one of my best spoken languages.

A gf of me has an old Acer Aspire 3005WLMi with an XP Home Edition Acer Incorporated install. She lost the recovery/oem discs and I want to re-install XP for her because the system is terrible to work on (many faults/bsod's etc.)

I've looked on the sticky pages but I'm not sure what to do. She would like to have a Dutch version with use of the original key. Does anybody have a step-by-step tutorial how to tackle this problem?

I can access the system for back-up and it's possible to run some tools to gather information. (for example: do I have to run those tools (for gathering OEM info) first before wiping and re-installing XP?)

    Kind regards,
    PvdH

    Your English is fine. :hug2:

    Questions:
    1. Have you already read about OEM:SLP activation??
    2. If so, then isn't it better to choose Pro over Home??
